Most people are familiar with the term Feng Shui. However, not everyone is exactly sure of what Feng Shui means or its usage in our world today.
Feng Shui is a method developed by the Chinese 3,000 years ago to balance and harmonize our environment, so that it will support and improve our lifestyle. According to the art of Feng Shui there are principles and specific ways to go about balancing the energies present in our living space to assure health, wealth, happiness and love.

There are a variety of different types of schools of thought in regard to the practice of Feng Shui. Some of these schools are; Compass School, Nine Star, Flying Dragon, Form School, Essential School and Black Hat. Although there are a range of approaches and methods to Feng Shui, the objective and goals are the same, that is, to create an environment that will bring positive results into our daily lives
There are basic fundamentals that all schools of Feng Shui embrace. Feng Shui literally means “wind and water”, referring to the seen and unseen forces of nature. That is, one can see mountains, streams and structures with the naked eye. The unseen forces are the feelings and impressions one picks up in nature or in a room. Chi means energy or the vibration of energy. We are vibrational beings in a vibrational universe. Everything is alive and made up of chi energy. Everything is connected and always changing. Like energy attracts like energy.
